Triumph in Phuket: Samuel Manlapaz Wins Varsity Title at 2025 International Science Bee Asian Championships

The International Science Bee (ISB) Asian Championships is one of the most prestigious individual science competitions for students across Asia. Organized by the International Academic Competitions (IAC), the ISB challenges top qualifiers from each country in a fast-paced, buzzer-based quiz bee that spans physics, chemistry, biology, earth science, astronomy, and environmental science. This year’s 2025 ISB Asian Championships took place on June 13, 2025, at a resort just north of Phuket International Airport in Thailand. The event brought together regional finalists who had earlier advanced through Alpha, Beta, and Gamma-level qualifiers. It was part of a larger celebration of academic excellence that also featured the International Geography Bee, History Bee and Bowl, Academic Bowl, and Environmental Science Championships. We are proud to share that Samuel Vaughn Josef Manlapaz, a dedicated student of iKnow Academic Hub, emerged as the Champion of the Varsity Division. Representing La Salle Green Hills (Philippines), Samuel demonstrated exceptional scientific knowledge and composure under pressure as he competed against the best and brightest young scientists in Asia.
