The Department of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) has officially opened applications for the 2026 Undergraduate Scholarship Program, a prestigious opportunity for Filipino students who aspire to build meaningful careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

List of Requirements

Applicants must prepare and submit the following:

  1. Certificate of Good Moral Character

  2. Certificate of Good Health

  3. Principal’s Certification:

    • STEM strand: Graduating or graduated Grade 12 student (Form E1)

    • Non-STEM strand: Belong to the top 5% of the class (Form E2)

    • Homeschool: Form E3

    • ALS: Form E4

  4. Certificate of Residency

  5. Parent’s Certification (no pending immigration application abroad)

  6. DOST-SEI Scholarship Examination/Award Record

  7. Applicant’s Certification of No Post-Secondary Units

  8. Signed Declaration of Applicant and Parent/Guardian

  9. Recent passport-size photo (4.5 cm × 3.5 cm)

  10. Birth Certificate

  11. Proof of Income (any of the following):

  • 2024 Income Tax Return (ITR)

  • BIR Form 1701

  • Employment Contract (for OFWs)

  • Certificate of Indigency or Certificate of Employment with Compensation

  • Proof of Pension (if applicable)

  1. Notarized Affidavit of Guardianship (if applicable)

  2. Marriage Certificate (for married applicants)
